Live Stage

The Live Stage aims to provide young people with diverse opportunities for artistic expression.

Live Stage performances will be danced in the different settings of the theatre, for example the cafe, staircases or the basement. Maximum length of performance is 30 minutes. 

The piece can be created by the dancers themselves or choreographed by a professional. Or anything in between!

Open Stage

Open Stage is for all dance styles, dance groups and dance artists!

Whether your style is traditional ballet, street dance, dance acrobatics or even folk dance, the Open Stage has space and opportunity to shine. Open Stage is held on the Alexander Theatre stage at Helsinki Dance Festival. 

Maximum length of performance is 10 minutes. 

Pro Stage

Pro Stage is an exciting event that provides a space for professional dancers and groups to perform in front of an audience of dancers, industry professionals, and potential collaborators. Our goal is to showcase the incredible talent and skill of dancers while providing opportunities for them to expand their network and reach new audiences.

Our event is open to dancers and groups from a variety of genres.We welcome both established performers and up-and-coming talent to take the stage and show us what they've got. Maximum length of performance is 10 minutes.

As a performer at Pro Stage, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Showcase your skills to a live audience of dance enthusiasts
• Gain exposure and visibility for your work
• Connect with potential collaborators and partners in the dance community
• Participate in workshops and masterclasses with renowned dance instructors
