Helsinki Dance Festival Prix
The Helsinki Dance Festival Prix consists of three competition divisions: the Ballet Prix, the Neoclassical Prix and the Contemporary Prix. The competition includes categories for both professionals (solo categories) and dance students. You can compete as a soloist, part of a duo or group. There are age categories for both juniors and novices.
The competition is divided into several rounds, the first of which is a regional competition or video audition. The jury will select a number of dancers to go on to the semifinals, which will be held at the Alexander Theatre in autumn 2024. The finale of the competition will also be held on the same day.
The Helsinki Dance Festival Prix is a unique opportunity for young dancers to perform and compete with the best in the country. The jury will include a diverse group of internationally renowned dance professionals.

Neoclassical Prix
Neoclassical Prix gives an opportunity for talented dancers to compete in neoclassical ballet. Neoclassical ballet is a contemporary and refined form of ballet that blends traditional techniques with modern artistry. It's characterised by its fluidity, intricate movements, and the freedom for choreographers to infuse their unique style.
